Kenya Beats Makeup Artistry

Please review all policies carefully before booking. Booking an appointment constitutes agreement to the policies below.

Booking & Deposit Policy

  • A $25 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure all non-bridal appointments.

  • The deposit is applied toward the total service balance.

  • Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.

Payment PolicY

  • For non-bridal services, the remaining balance is due on the day of service.

  • For bridal services, the remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date.

  • Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, Venmo, and PayPal.

Failure to submit payment may result in cancellation of services.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Clients may cancel or reschedule one time with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Deposits remain non-refundable but may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment when proper notice is given.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

  • Same-day cancellations are not eligible for rescheduling.

All rescheduled appointments are subject to availability.

Late Policy

Clients are expected to be ready at their scheduled appointment time.

  • The Artist will wait up to 15 minutes past the scheduled start time.

  • If the client has not arrived or made contact within 15 minutes, the appointment will be considered a no-show and services will be forfeited.

  • If the client notifies the Artist in advance and arrives after 15 minutes, a $25 late fee will apply.

  • Excessive lateness may result in reduced services with no price adjustment.

No-Show Policy

Clients who fail to show up for their appointment without notice will:

  • Forfeit their deposit

  • Be subject to refusal of future bookings

No-shows are taken seriously, as they prevent the Artist from accepting other clients.

Travel Fee Policy

The Artist is an on-location makeup artist. Travel fees apply as follows:

  • $50 travel fee for locations more than 25 miles from Greensboro, up to 2 hours away

  • $75 travel fee for locations over 2 hours away

Travel fees are non-refundable and must be confirmed prior to booking.

Guest & Environment Policy

To ensure a professional and efficient service experience:

  • No additional guests are permitted during the appointment.

  • One (1) additional person is allowed.

  • Children are not permitted during makeup services unless they are the client receiving services.

Clients must provide:

  • A clean, safe workspace

  • Adequate lighting

  • A table or flat surface for makeup application

Excessive distractions, interruptions, or unsafe environments may result in reduced services or cancellation without refund.

Health & Sanitation Policy

For the safety of all clients and the Artist:

  • Clients must disclose any skin sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions prior to service.

  • Please notify the Artist of any open sores, active skin infections, cold sores, or other contagious conditions.

  • Services may be refused if a condition presents a health or sanitation concern.

No refunds will be issued for services refused due to undisclosed health or safety concerns.

Right to Refuse Service

The Artist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services for:

  • Unsafe or unsanitary environments

  • Inappropriate or disrespectful behavior

  • Failure to comply with policies outlined above
